Got risk? Managing risk and reliability in modern technology. Arthur C. Clark once predicted that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Behind the scenes, however, a lot of work goes into the devices "magically" working and if not, failing in a way that is transparent to the user. Dr. Yakov Shkolnikov will share his stories on working with clients analyzing failure, improving reliability, and evaluating risk on everything from day to day items to high end medical equipment.
